2011 is an exciting year for the team at Gecko Promotions and we are glad to be well and truely into our 6th year of trading.

One of our challenges has been in keeping our clients informed of the huge range of products and services we offer. Business cards & flyers, graphics & signage, uniforms and promo products, trophies....+ the rest! Who wouldn't want the ease of purchasing all this through one supplier?

So what makes 2011 special for us? With the assistance of our new Office Manager, Carol Jones, we will be revising our systems and aiming at even better customer service. We are currently working on regular updates, special offers and competitions while ensuring we are providing a value packed service!

Yesterday we were chatting in our office to a client (another business owner) about the challenges of running a business.
Our conversation was a reminder of the book "The E Myth Revisited" by Michael Gerber.
We all agreed this is an outstanding book for any business owner to read.

The days are getting longer and soon many smart businesses will be thinking about Christmas gifts for their clients. We are already quoting on Christmas gifts! Each year we receive a stack of enquiries in November and December for Christmas gifts. By then we can not always help.
Many suppliers stop taking orders mid/late November. Stocks run low and everyone is rushing.
Off shore orders take longer - up to a couple of months - to arrive in little old Hobart town.
Now is a great time to be planning how to thank your clients with a special item at Christmas.
Some ideas include: Calendars, Umbrellas, Etched Glassware, Branded Lollies, Caps & Tshirts, Mouse Matts, Stubbie Holders...the list goes on.

Vehicle Signage Brings in Business.
After we signed a vehicle for Fairdinkum Sheds, the business owner was flagged down by someone as he drove past a drive way. Business came directly from this vehicle signage and paying for the signage many, many times over. Would our customer say his vehicle signage was a worthwhile investment - absolutely.

Recently I was visiting a client in our Gecko Promotions vehicle. I was approached by a total stranger asking if we supplied stickers. I was pleased to be able to help and welcome a new customer to Gecko Promotions.
